I WAS hoping to say that i am the proud owner of 2 of these 2.1 TD's,but the one that i have just bought came back and bit me in the bum,It has a rotten sill on the drivers side and is so far gone that it has to have a total replacement,Dont mind doing it i am a welder by trade,but what a smack in the gob when it failed the mot,First 1 i have heard of. Oooouuucchhhh There's me thinking these dont go rotten ! !Oh well ! !

Erk! The 406 has galvanised bodywork, so your car sounds like it must have had a side impact in the past
