Well it's done, my pockets are £200 lighter and I have a shiny new exhaust. Got the wheel alignment done as well because I changed the rear top struts a short while back and the old tyres were wearing on the shoulders previously
I can now drive over speed bumps without leaving a spark trail! And the car drives in a straight line! :cheesy:
I think I've cleared everything on my list of jobs apart from the handbrake cable! :D

On top of everything else, and everything else is fairly major, xmas eve I did two jobs in 6 hours so gave up and went home.

Xmas day night things went ok except for the vomiter who was civilised enough to warn me and stick her head out of the cab door bless her...

New years eve things were going well until about 9:30pm when a young lad ran along the road towards me and my two passengers in the car. I braked to a stop, he jumped onto the bonnet and stamped on the windscreen until it smashed, then he went onto the roof, over the boot and along the road for 2 to 300 yards until the following car knocked him down. His mates followed along, kicking the car and trying to blame me. Not a good idea on their part at the best of times. After getting my male punter back in the car (big lad, he was going to take them all on bless him) I drove off down the road and stopped away from the crowd. I'd emergency called our op on the ptt and the cops were there in 3 maybe 4 mins at the outside.

Two hours at the cop shop giving a statement, and I will prosecute all the way. He's a juvenile :| I'm off the road until fixed. Plus Jan is MOT, council test, PH insurance, brake fluid and oil/filter change... i've really had enough of all this sh1t...

Now - new windscreen done but bonnet needs attention, lovely crimp in the metalwork were his foot hit and scuffed paint elsewhere. Sod it all, why should I bother... and I started the NVQ for taxiing just b4 xmas...

New aux belt and tensioner a week or so back is now rattling again like it's knacked. Engine undershield fell off last night . Grrr...

And very much like what soops said previously, our office manager and main desk op is a lovely vivacious young woman who gets more sh1t heaped on her by our rivals and the great unwashed than I could bloody cope with...

Me angry? Fed up? I've had an absolute gutfull.

I'm old enough to know better and be sensibly self disciplined, but it still grips my sh1t...

Happy new year to you all, yes I mean it, and evolution in swift action to all scrotes...

reason to feel miserable 1
just took the dog to the vet with a lump and other problems vet spends 5 mins telling me how he can do this treatment and that treatment only to have me ask will you be able to cure her ??????
no replies the vet
so what you want to do is prolong her life and mask all her symptoms i ask
well errrrr yes and errrrr no says vet
can you make it so my dog can run upstairs and wake my kids or go to the beach with us and run like she used to without being in massive pain for the next 2 days ?????
no says the vet i can't the best i can give you is maybe 6 months more like 1-3 months

there is no way whatsoever i can do that to my puppy no matter how much i'm gonna miss her i can't leave her suffer she's had a hard life that seems to have only come good in the last 2 years
so i have her booked in for saturday morning and i have to figure out how to tell the kids without turning into a sobbing mess

so right now new year just seems sh1tter than the old year
If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you !!!!!

I well remember my dad turning into a sobbing mess a couple of times when I was a kid, it didn't bother me much because I was a sobbing mess too. Still am sometimes, that's what we get for having close associations with animals that have a shorter lifespan than we do.
