Hope your journey home is a bit better.
Yep - no problems, only a little slush near the house :D
Welton wrote:Doggy I heard Peterboro' had bad snow.
'Bout 3-4 inches, not as bad as here.

I remember sliding about on the snow back in Blighty, scarey. The daft thing is you're all using summer tyres which are useless on the stuff and I've got snow tyres on but there's no bluddy snow here  (Although it's forecast for next week :| )

This was yesterday, I set off for Hereford at 7AM but failed to get out of town  , so a bit later on (after I'd been shopping for bread and milk, there's now 18 pints of milk here, no kidding  ) I went for a bit of a spin to see what I could find...

Nice full car park.....

Thursday I took the Zook out for an hour and found a few snowdrifts to play with...
Image
Drove out of that one OK but got totally stuck in the next drift and had to dig it out  , rather annoyingly I didn't think to take any pics :frown:

This 4X4's a bit easier to recover when it gets stuck....

At the edges I removed the factory fittings and put them back in through the splitter, in the middle it's nestling into the clips for the rubber thingy, then there are (very small) stainless self tappers and cup washers up into the underneath of the bumper at about 6" intervals all the way around the front 8)

I like to think a bit of snow is nothing compared to hooking it on a curb  and smacking it on the road when "landing" off some of the stupid speed bumps we have around here
