It's sad to say but you may need to consider breaking the car as you're more likely to get more Dollar this way. As a full car I don't know whether you'd get more than £400.00? these days

The 205/306 boys will soon snap up your engine and box for a 'wikkid projekt' etc etc ........

Deano, what do you want for it?

Does any one know if is there much compatibility difference between a 97 SRI P reg and a 97 Executive R reg? Im after spare parts, interior bits and engine bits, possibly the whole engine.
Leather seats would be nice.

Depends on the engine. SRI can refer to the 2.0 turbo or 2.2 N/A. Similarly, "Executive" covers several engines. If you're talking 2.0 turbo (XU10J2TE) then they're the same unit. The biggest difference is the Executive is a higher trim level with leather heated electric seats, CD changer, climate control and headlamp washers on saloons
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

It needs a new out side temp pick up for the n/s mirror and that is it
so just two plug and play sender units one for speedo and one for temp pick up job done
