The MG has not got:
Window wipers or jets; let alone manual wipers that you can pull with string

The MG has not got:
Hazard Lights; yes its that old.

The MG has not got:
windows; let alone manual wipers.

The MG has not got:
5 gears; yes sometimes it does get fast enough to need a 5th;

So even though the 406 gets on my nerves sometimes, It is like a limo and makes me feel special :D

I remember my first car was a 1989 G Reg Renault 21 1.7l TS 5 door hatchback (TS = Totaly sh*t) Every month something would break.

IT had a manual choke, manual windows. Just about the only luxury was electric window wipers!

My first car (in 1988) was a 1976 VW Golf 1.1L. That might sound a bit fancy but oh boy what a shitter :shock:

It actually had a dimmer for the dash lighting 8) trouble is that's about all it had :cry:

My Dad had a Rootes group Hillman Minx, I remember as lad the chassis members were rotten after just 3 years - but it had leather seats and arm rests - in the front and back. It had a side valve engine and was a lot faster than cars of today cos there were not many cars on the road then. :lol:

My first car as a MKV Cortina, I upgraded the ICE system from a radio and 2 small speakers to a radio/cassete and 2 HI FI speakers in the rear footwell!! :cheesy: Then I went really posh a few years later and bought a Lancia Delta with 5 gears, wow 5 gears just to go forward, it had leccy windows at the front, and was my first front wheel drive and the first time I'd experienced understeer!!!
