a quick up date

Post by bigdaves406 »

i have had my new pug back on the road a mouth now.
in this mouth i have had to change a engine mount and had a fuel leak which i have fixed with parts off my donner car
all i got to get is a set of alloys as im rideing around on a set of 14 steels which dont like roundabouts at speed
the stainless exhaust i got on it for cat back is great
do anyone now do i need the cat on the car for mot
because where the lip on the cat is to joint the centre box is there is a bit missing and it is farting a bit
so if i dont need the cat for mot i will get a stainless pipe from the down pipe to had on the rest of the exhaust

Safest bet is to fit one. My de-catted 24V Carlton just about met the CO limit, (but it didn't matter cos it was pre-92 & didn't have to pass the same test the later ones do). Think you're unlikely to pass without. :frown:
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)
