last night during a moment of excitment, i caught the eye of a member of the local police department, who decided it would be prudent to stop me for a chat about the incedent.
anyway, a few words exchanged about what i thought i was playing at, and he then proceeded to enquire about "what was under the bonnet" since he had never seen an old heavy estate car move like that before, lol.
seemed surprised when i told him it was a diesel and hadn't been fiddled with at all, and was infact not running properly due to needing a service and having a wee blow in the exhaust.
this a compliment or not?

lol, true, but i was stopped around 7pm, and ran out of diesel around 2 am, and had been driving solid for the whole time in between, so prolly wouldn't have been that low at that point.
