i didnt think they had peugeot in aus, when i went and stayed with my aunt in melbourne in 2006 though i do remember seeing a citroen xantia!

It's actually to do with boring legal stuff, when advertising stuff like that you can't depict a car that's currently available for sale on the market. If you show a picture of a current 407 coupe you would be 'associating' that brand with the construction of a supermarket etc etc etc.......

Oh and they filmed the international 407 ad in Sydney too - "Playtime is Over" - Couple of blocks up from where I work in the city!

Toyed with the idea of getting one, but they are still too expensive. 30k buys a pretty rough early one - 50k isn't unheard of for the last of them! Gorgeous cars though - Parents have a the 4 door version of it...
