I have just acquired a 406 GLX 2.0 16v Estate (2001) from some friends. Reason I bought it was that I have worked on my own cars for around 30 years and the 406 seems relatively easy to work on. Plus, I love the look of the 406 and the availability and prices of parts seem very good.
For the jobs I cannot do, I like to find a good local specialist. I am v. fussy about work done, as are many of you judging by the garage thread below.
I have the car booked in to Geoffrey Sizzey in Billingshust on Thursday for Cambelt/Water Pump as heard he was good. Wondering if any of you guys had any reports to support this and/or other suggestions around Chichester for future work.
Loving the car so far and look forward to being a regular here.
