The 7-seater has a release on the inside of the back door.

If memory serves, the front aerial is the same part d8/d9. They only changed it when they moved to a stubby amplified aerial at the rear some time in the D9's production. If his is shorter than it should be, it's probably an aftermarket jobbie - the aerial threads can snap off quite easily at this age
steve_earwig wrote:Come to think of it, I've ever seen a black D8...
Hmmmmmm
I wonder if they escaped through the back door - that would make it a 7 seater :cheesy:
Niiiice! :cheesy: The front end would have gone through the water first and unless they got out pronto, the doors wouldn't have been openable
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

I suspect the recovery operation won't be as newsworthy, so we're unlikely to get wind of it. If the unfortunate owner happens to read this thread, I somehow doubt he/she will volunteer anything further.

Maybe if we have any local sleuths keeping their eyes peeled....(Anyone who gets a pic of that deserves an OC award).

Mine does the ICE ALERT and flashing temp. readout from +3 down to -3, so if the temperature rises form -4 to -3 it's Bong! - ICE ALERT time, which is stupid.

(But not enough to distract you into driving down an EFFING CANAL)!

Prat-Nav maybe?

'Kitt' from Knight Rider wouldn't have had this problem.....

Michael, the ice ahead is too thin, I'll engage my super ice blaster to thicken it.

Thanks Kit, you're a real Pal.
