bloody snow again

Post by tricky76 »

]Once again the white stuff has fallen once more and brought some vengeance this time it claimed my car  driving along nice and gently on the slippy stuff approaching a corner and driver on the opposite side decided come my side of the road so i slammed on the brakes to avoid him but the back end came out managed to avoid him and gain control of the car it went smack into the kerb and bounced off  i was not happy took it to the garage to see what damaged it done the wheel is further back than it was. It bent the wishbone and twisted the tie rod it was fortunate it didn't damage the steering rack thank f***k resulting cost £120 inc labour which i thought it ain't to bad but that's including the alloy so im stuck to find one so next plan is going to the scrappys and fingers crossed i might find one

Least you survived unharmed - all hail the uber tough 406! Think yourself lucky you weren't in a Shart car or something.

Seconded! It's like driving a go-cart in the dry let alone on ice!

you got lucky on the alloy too! when i went sidewards into a kerb last year, i broke the edge of rim so deep that i risked the tyre coming off, and sheared the spring at the same time! :(
The answers no!

Now whats the question?

yippee its back reborn once more all i have to do now is take to get the tracking done and find a alloy on fraudbay then back to business another sodding i hate about it i went to put the spare wheel on so i could take to the garage went to use the wheel brace to undo the nuts the bloody things were tight and broke my wheel brace. I went to get the wheel bearing done last October and they probably used a zip gun to tighten the nuts with so im on a hunt to find a wheel brace
