2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

Yep, but i wouldn't call it faster than a V6 Omega! I'm a staunch hater of CVT transmissions.dogslife wrote:When accelerating you get the wheezy 1.5 petrol plus the leccy bitz 'elpin out.Welly wrote:That's weird, it's a wheezy 1.5 petrol when 'giving it the beans'dogslife wrote:Don't know if anyone else has discovered, but yer average Prius accelerates bl00dy quickly too.

The thing with electric engines is that they have near "instant" acceleration, therefore they are very responsive. Though in the case of the Prius, it is diluted through the gearbox.
