My head is bruised from banging it on the desk in frustration at the way management run things. Its only a stop gap job for now.
I remember sitting in the service waiting area of my Peugeot dealer when I first got the 406 and overheard the reception girls literally 'totting up' the punters' bills and claiming to be 'on target' that week. Looked like they were all working towards targets of some sort, focussing on the pound notes rather than the customers needs
You are correct Welly, everyone in the business is targeted in some way or another, service staff are targeted with CSI satisfaction levels nowadays, and tbh i think most of our service customers are treated fairly, and charged accordingly.
I have know some of the mechanics for a good many years and they always know tips and things what to look for on the older Peugeots, which is helpful at times, plus i get to use the ramps occasionally for the odd quick job on my own.
Im always amazed at some of the older stuff we see through service (205's and 309's even) and their bills always make me wince a bit, especially when you know what the cars worth, but each to their own i suppose.
My staff discount is usefull as well.
