The 3 pipes on the fuel rail...
There will be 1 on the rail (main one from the fuel pump)
and 2 on the regulator (circular part you can see on your own pics)
one of the pipes on that possibly underneath) will be for the fuel return, the other will be a vacuum pipe to go to the inlet manifold to ajust pressure for load ;)
hope thats some use.
no one has answered this yet so thanks. as for what pipes go where? the one on the fuel rail i worked out to be the fuel feed. as for the fuel reg, the top pipe i was going to use for the return as the bottom pipe has been blocked off. any idea what will happen if i dont put a vacuum pipe to the inlet manifold from the fuel reg?
You WILL need to have both connected, it wont be happy at all without the vacuum pipe
The vacuum pipe is there to close off the regulator and raise the fuel pressure when you put your foot down on the gas, and then lowers the pressure again when you cruise/idle etc.
Looking at the picture i would say the top one which is brass coloured would be the vacuum pipe and the bottom one will be the fuel return.
