Wot, no linky? Is that a Bimmer? That would be the only sort of Krautmobile I'd want, an antique one :cheesy:

I was looking at ancient Pugs for sale here, only a couple of rusty 305 saloons - they're not even old enough to get in with the old timers. There are loads of 404s and 504s but the cheapness of a few years back (before HR gave up everything it fought for 20 years back and joint the yurupean pyramid scheme) has well and truly gone out the window :( - http://www.njuskalo.hr/oldtimer-auti/pe ... as-9111662

France (rather unsurprisingly) seems to be the best place for an old pug.
The 604 is a good example although its rare over in france they actually exist, which is better than their numbers here in the uk.

A general question about car tax:

I bought the red 305 back in june, at the time i paid for 6 months tax on it, but its been off the road for the past month and won't be back on for an unknown length of time, can the tax disk be refunded for whatever is left on it?

Yes I'm sure you can cash in a current Tax disc for full-month's remaining credit. There's probably a few declarations to fill in but the money will be handy for something else.

Yes, if the car is in your name - but the DVLA take 10% of refunds on a 6 month disc, the tight wads.....

Ill need to send them an email, I'm not up to scratch on their new website yet, it seems that things move quite s l o w with the DVLA since they closed the offices.

In completley unrelated news, i emptied the back of the subaru out, there isnt really any need to store tools in the back of it as the mushroom house can do that, unfortunately i got a bit overexcited and did this:

I might actually go and take a look at that, it says near dungannon co tyrone, i live near dungannon.
Although another old pug is precisely the last thing i need, I'm trying to save up a bit of dosh for the replacement front wings, valence, welding, sand blasting, paint for the 305 i have at the moment.

I wonder how reliable or good peugeots 4x4 system is.
