I was thinking today about how much I hate climate.
Nothing wrong with a fan speed dial, tempreture dial, direction dial and a button for AC/Recirc.
I use my climate in manual anyway!

I keep thinking about buying a D8 to restore and trying to think what spec I want.

But I want 4x leccy windows, leather and memory seats ...
I know.., I know... they're so annoyingly seductive.

Spent an hour moaning and groaning with a syringe and a piece of tube tied to a chop stick to keep the tube rigid. Injected as much of steel re-enforced epoxy as I could into the holes on the shaft on one side - we'll see how well it sets and how long it holds! Space is minimal - wasn't sure if it was just easier to cut the heater box again!
