I was in stitches at that whole bit.

Anyone else think that AMG Merc's engine sounded like a Harley? Never heard a car revving with that much bass before. I think it looks ugly though; not a fan of Mercedez-Benz cars in the looks dept.

The Ferrari "Fireball" Italia looked like a whole lot of fun though.

That engine note was awesome
Said to my lad though I thought someone was farting :cheesy: :cheesy: :cheesy:

I can see where you are coming from with the looks, but guess it barks back to the classic gull wing merc that was around in the 50's and for that, I do like it

I like mercedes benz sportscars, and i now like the sls very much, if i have any critism its that the back end isnt properly finished, but drop one off on the yard and give me the keys, im sure id forgive it, there would be no tyres at all. :cheesy: :cheesy: I like its looks a lot, and merc interiors seem to be up there again.
The porsche, it really does look a lot like a beetle, if it flicked its hair back.

On the subject of Top Gear, I used to think that the whole Morris Marina Owners Club thing was just an ongoing joke they started, but apparently there are Marina ow ners out there that hold a grudge:

That's not the first time I've seen that in a Marina ad either...

Me neither, (though Mrs Doggy looked very disappointed when I explained we didn't need to replace it for the changeover to digital).

The analog TV signal? You won't get one; it won't exist.

They'll be re-using that part of the R/F spectrum (can't recall what it's going to be used for; probably mobile phone-related though).
