Theres a place that filters down to 10 micron and selling it 35p a litre.
You can, but it will block your fuel filter quicker than it would if it was filtered down to 1 micron.

A fuel filter is 5-8 micron, so ideally you need to be below that. Some people filter to 0.5 or even 0.1 micron.

At 35p ltr be worth getting and filtering it further yourself.

Yes, smells like a chippy. Fine inside the car, but stand near the exhaust and you will smell it.

Where do you get waste vegetale oil from?
Do you just go round all the local fast food shops and ask?
I guess I'd want about 100 litres per month (I've got my eye on this 406 on eBay)

Current: 407 2.2 HDi 170 & C6 2.7 HDi.
Former: 406 1.9 TD; 406 HDi 90; 407 2.2 160; 307cc 180; 508 HDi 140.

Yep just go in and ask, or send a flyer to them all with your phone no on.

Can get it on ebay aswell, just search for "oil (cooking, waste, vegetable, veggie,WVO,veg, used)".
