Ah right. I couldn't see it from your avatar.

The cigar is actually one of those party blowers :)

i liked the ronin avatar.
In theory (it would take a long time) would it be possible to completley put ronin in an avatar.

You'd end up with an avatar several hundred MB in size, which would take an hour to load (lots longer, if you're on mobile broadband or *gasp* on dial-up!), and wouldn't be very entertaining given it won't have any sound.

Actually, it's still on it's original running gear. The engine, box and axles are original, it has had a tubby and MAF at around the 450,000k mark and they replaced the originals. I put in new seats, carpet and door cards, cos it was driven for 439,000 by a taxi driver who used it as a mobile brothel.. Even black cloth can't hide stains of that magnitude and the carpets had been stillettoed to death.

Hold on a mo, 2 hours at 25fps is 180,000 frames, reduced to 6 fps, 100x100 pixels and 31 colours (which most of my avatars are) it'd be something like 175 megs. Stuff that

Well yeah, but you'd still have it downloading to your PC. And, I bet Photobucket has a maximum file size less than that (for pictures, at least, and that's what an animated gif is after all, is just a picture). And that's if the .GIF file format even supports animations with that number of frames and files of that size anyway - no idea if it does or not.

There's just no point, FP, no point at all.

(I got deja vu here - remembering when you wanted to put the Pug lion logo in place of the useless GPS logo on a 406 sat nav screen... I seem to sh*t all over your ideas don't I )

yes, but the thing about my ideas is that they are completely bonkers so its good to get a bit of realism into them.
The peugeot logo would be nice on the type C display, technically not possible but nice nonetheless you must admit that you wouldnt say no to the display having a pug logo on it.
