the reason i ask is that you mention it has feature to help you park it yet in the pics its either parked miles from the kerb ,or has 2 wheels on the kerb :cheesy: :cheesy:

I just pulled over to have a smoke, the local plod dont really give too hoots how you park here so up the kerb it went and it was at that time i thought of you lovely lot and got my phone out for some piccys, give it a few weeks and i wont be getting out to satisfy my filthy habits any longer, i will just do them there and then

This thread is starting to head very much towards a real-life "Human Centipede" scenario.

I dunno about the fags there but the ones here tend to drop cherry bombs everywhere, which is why (partly) I stopped smoking in the car.

And I still didn't read your first post  Bluddy garden, bluddy vegetables, bluddy bluddy ferk ferk ferk. And I still need to plant the terrace baskets - 22 of the feckers :(

My dad's C5 estate is silver, he let me drive it once - about 20 feet to get it out the way when I was working on my heap  I thought it was a C5II but it looks just like yours so it must be an X7 but I was too busy to take much interest I'm afraid - I couldn't even tell you if it has shat nav, although I did notice the bendy lights.

My Mrs tried buying it in the shops & they all said that they wouldn't sell "that film". Even Cash Convertors etc said they wouldn't even take it in. Of course this made her want to see it even more. So I bought it on Play.com. Then when we watched it, all her workmates wanted to borrow it. One of them was off sick for 2 days after watching it as everytime she ate it all came back up again.

Personally, I didn't think it was that good. Bit boring really.

im drooling over that c5, i really want one, the estate looks great.

more questions,
can the lights see round the corner
does the hydropneumatic suspension in comfort mode eliminate all bumps
whats the steering feel like

i couldnt care if it didnt come with an engine the looks are great, the interior is really nice. But id want the cream option, i dont know why its a disaster to keep clean but ive had it in this car and i like the interior cream.

they turn with the wheel so in theory they are always pointing in the direction you are looking.
FarmerPug wrote:does the hydropneumatic suspension in comfort mode eliminate all bumps
yes and no, it certainly smooths them out and makes things a bit floaty.
FarmerPug wrote:whats the steering feel like
the steering is ok in normal mode, a bit like driving a much bigger vehicle, smooth and quite well connected but not exactly direct. Stick it in sports mode and it becomes a lot more responsive and sharp, it stays really flat in the bends and feels much stiffer in its responses, sports mode is exactly as it says it is and one of the benefits is is you can switch it on and off any time any speed and its instantaneous in its application.

but Puggy your "sloppy seconds" felt pretty tight to me but then i suppose it depends on what your'e doing the reaming with in the first place, i think you just started the pilot hole for me  :P

thats good to hear about the steering, i heard the 407 lost some feel compared to the 406. Its all well and good having great handling but if the steering isnt communicative its not worth it, the biggest problem with the clio very good handling but you hadnt a clue what the wheels or chasis was at.

also the middle screen in the instrument cluster ie the speedo screen, its colour how come so many are just orange, is the colour an option?
is there a reversing camera, and component cable plug in the glovebox to share camera pics on the sat nav screen?

i have a lot of questions, but im really interested in the c5, the time i first seen a 406 executive of my neighbours i must have asked 100 questions and pressed every button.
Although if i went for a c5 id have to go for the cheapo 2.0, id like the 1.6 but the reliability worries me, the 2.0 seems to still do good economy but more importantly is in a reasonable insurance group.
Your 2.2 i think in the new 508 has replaced the 2.7hdi as peugeot said the 2.2 outpreforms the v6 in many ways.

Needs the optional 19's for the pimped out look! :cheesy:

Top purchase though, friends of mine have one - brilliant car! Could make a suitable 406 replacement...!
