

When the wife's car got keyed last year I had all sorts of ideas and desires for justice / revenge but eventually we just had to let it go and cough up to get it resprayed, so knowing who did it (and the parents of said culprit) must be eating away at you. You'd be quite right to expect an apology and and an offer of payment but I somehow doubt it'll be forthcoming, perhaps a quiet word once the dust has settled would be advisable.

It does occur to me though, that people in that part of the world may not feel the same about their cars as we do, we've all been to places where you never see a car with a straight panel, so maybe they just don't see it as an issue?
