Don't listen to him mate, I ain't no Percy Thrower, my idea of gardening involves paving slabs and concrete. He's talking about the box section sills mod I've done to the Suzuki, awesome it is, even if I do say so myself

Disco, look forward to meeting you in October then :( Hope the Sinclair C5 is sorted for ya!

still waiting for the phone call from the garage telling me its finished, no rush like, its only a bank holiday weekend and if its not done today i will have to wait till tuesday, its not like i have ferries booked for tomorrow and hotels reserved and paid for in various european countries or anything

anybody fancy a punt on the total costs?

work done:
both height sensors for the hydractive suspension
one new damper.

all work carried out at warranty rates at a citroen dealer, take a punt and i will stick up the total cost later when i get back from hopefully picking it up.

Height Corrector sensor, £11.99 on ebay so at stealers £35 a piece? £70 for those
One new damper, £40 on ebay, so at stealders £100.

£170 for parts.

Monday - Thursday, 4 days labour, 8 hours a day, 32 hours. @ £80 an hour = £3840

+ £170 parts = £4010

+ vat = £4812

Am I close?

Im back
in Poland, glad to be home

faultless run back IN the C5, was touch and go at one point, they still had the car at 5pm on Friday, now baring in mind that its a bank holiday weekend there now and i had ferries booked for saturday lunch time...........................

i was a tad twitchy

collected it last thing friday, washed and cleaned inside and out by the stealer and an attempt at a bill of.......................
£913.38.
until i reminded him it was being done at warranty rates and that really it was bit steep, he reduced the bill to £687.18,

I paid with a grimace and took a receipt and invoice with all the fault codes and citroens own repair codes and a list of times spent, a full inter dealer breakdown, so i am heading into my stealer tomorrow armed with this and an angry Polish wife(never under-estimate the power of an angry woman)to see what tricks they try and pull to avoid paying.

just finished a single leg of 1183km from Eindhoven to Warsaw, did it in 11 hours dead, with a lunch stop and a dinner stop and a couple of short "comfort breaks" total drive time 9 hours 20 mins or so, i drove all they way whilst my wife entertained our lad, i think i got the better deal, knackered now though, night all.
