Urrrrrrrghhhhh bleurgh urglblgrlrlrlrrrrr <vomit>

That leather just looks nasty - like what comes out of a diarrhetic baby.

Even if it had cream leather or black leather though, that is quite an ambitious price.

I like it but I think it needs Ash wood and needs the silver center console & cluster surround replacing with black ones.

At least I'm not the only one that prefers the black then. First time I sat in a 406 with the (factory) grey plastics I hated it. I should add, for those who have gone to the trouble of spraying theirs, that it isn't the colour, but the horrible texture on it. I much prefer my smooth shiny black bits.

If I get an Exec then I will be swapping my light wood with dark wood from my Uncles Rapier (havent asked yet but he dosent have a choice in the matter )
If I get an SE then I will be looking for a dark centre console and instrument cluster. Might be hard to find a black one with Sat nav though

Won't be that hard - just ask Ade the coupe man to let you know when one turns up as the coupes never had the lower grey bits as standard.

I must be the only one that likes that interior...
The first time I saw that interior, on the link for the 2.2 that was posted on here a while back with a blown turbo in Newcastle, that was on eBay 3 times, I wasn't overly keen on it, but I tell ya, it's definately growing on me
Maybe because it's different to all the other saloon/estate interiors ( coupe has tan )
I also agree it needs the Ashwood trim and the silver centre console

As a second point, I wasn't over keen on the Hoggars at first - probably bacause they often are a bit manky as prone to deterioration it seems
But again, when the Hoggars are in top condition, they look quite nice

It's the same with Waue's S+B alloys, I wasn't keen on them in pics i've seen on his or other cars, but they looked the dog's in the flesh

Plus with that price, I think there is many a buyer who'd probably prefer a 406 over a 407, and the fact it's only got 54k on it, probably warrants a premium
Not sure i'd pay it, but if in estate form and close to 2.5k, then maybe, but then again, it really also wants a 2.2 in it doesn't it
1999 D8.5 HDi GLX - Sold :(

2007 Mondingo Zetec - I seek forgiveness :( Bring back my 406

There seems to be a spate of nice ones around the £3k mark at the mo on Auto Trader:

http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/ ... ?logcode=p - my choice. Very tempted to have a trek up for a look, especially seeing how much the Ebay one went for.

& the ever so slightly overpriced:

Although my red GLX is still for sale & a bit closer to home:

Exec would be nicer though.

Not a fan of estates myself, but that's a very classy colour combination - metallic black, with the SE half-leather interior - very nice!

Alternative - I want my Coupe to have the lower grey bits - if you can dig a set out of an SE, I'll send you my black ones.

the orange leather is ok but i dont like the way its been put in the seat switch is still black and so are the carpets on the cream option you get a lot of cream coloured parts.

as for the silver bits, i got myself some original peugeot ones which are properly sprayed this time, black is ok but i think it takes the silver to lighten up the dash a bit, its too hard to see the buttons on the black dash.

I hope to god my insurance ups my limit from 120 to 140bhp.
I know in my first year it was 100bhp, then 120bhp so I'm sure when I renew it will go upto 140bhp. Think any of them have a clue on the phone?
Knowing my luck it will go upto 135bhp
