I agree, find a good bonnet and you've a better chance of selling for a decent price. Don't be downhearted friend.

It's the old Doseley one, it's moved. My mates up there now and will check condition, paint code and price.

He does a lot of work for the guy so he get's things cheaper, if you do want it he'll take it off and you can pick up from his place.

I think bonnets normally go for £60 but should be cheaper through my mate :cheesy:

Can you take a picture? Does it look the same colour as mine? http://www.pug406.com/wiki/index.php?title=No2lurch

Highlander might have a better idea due to his research on the paint codes, but I can't think of any more than one type of silver that I've seen on a 406. Closest would be that metallic grey colour on Himbigchief's D8 or the very light blue on Doggy's that may look silver from a distance.

I reckon the bonnet is probably a match - it may just need a good T-cut. Would Servicebox be able to bring up the paint code from the VIN of the Rapier?

My mate couldn't find the paint code so he just pulled the VIN plate off and brought it round

If someone can check service box for the paint code VIN is VF38BRHYE80835319

it was silver when I looked at it yesterday, might be easiest to ring a pug dealer and check it

If it's the right colour it can be dropped off at my house for the princely sum of £40
