I was hoping the attached video would be a demonstration, all I learned is batons are crap (I hope they tried their effectiveness on the guy's head once they got him out the car :evil: )

Mobiles, laptops, anything with a Li-ion or Li-po battery is basically a potential timebomb. Lithium's a vicious metal, and of course reacts violently with water. Makes for a better battery than Nickel though...

See the citroen c4 has laminated side windows, thats nice to know because it makes it quieter and all that, but if you need to escape isnt laminated windscreens one of the hardest things to break?

Cadmium's not exactly benign either.
