I've noticed this too. I sold ZXs for a few hundred quid and you'd be lucky to get a diesel one for less than a grand.

15 mile commute starting, likely to take close to an hour in traffic. Should I go diesel, stick with the Honda or get a 30-40mpg 1.6/1.8?

I was thinking of asking not much more for the 2002 Carisma, maybe I should be asking more, it's a great car.
