I think you've got to remember that it's a TV show. There are some rather odd comments and the occasional bit that's clearly set up or made up, but generally it's very good and I enjoy it a lot. Nice to see how some repairs and refurbs are done, and some of the equipment and processes used, the later series' are a lot better for this, they call in the specialists a bit more often for diagnostics and body repairs etc. I do chuckle at how Mike manages to find complete interiors and unmarked alloys for a few quid though!

Here's an example of a set-up, anyone remember the one where they did a Suzuki SJ? Engine change, SPOA conversion, roll cage... then it failed the MOT on rust so they sold it "at a loss" to some bloke who wanted it to play at private sites. There are 2 problems with that scenario, firstly Edd would have known that the rot wouldn't pass an MOT and secondly, the areas he pointed out as "beyond repair" were actually pretty straightforward to weld up, you should have seen mine!! That car was clearly never intended to go back on the road, and the "buyer" was obviously lined up before the project started. But hey, it's a TV show so you take some of what's said with a pinch of salt, as long as the technical stuff isn't BS, who cares?

Help, I'm confused to fek, stop being so bloody cryptic mun! Also, how do you know this info? Are you a stalker?

Yes i am a stalker, the name Steve rings a bell it was one of the older episodes when Mike used to go and see a prime example of the car they were restoring and he interviewed Steve... My mrs noticed him and said I'm sure that's Vicky's other half (she used to work with Vicky)

Can't remember what he was driving but I'll ask her lunch time and let you know.... Oh and i spotted Vicky reply to a rugby status of yours a few weeks back.

Ah right, it all makes sense in the end....

Vicky's company, Full Stop Law, are also sponsors of Pontypridd RFC (her logo's on the other sleeve to mine though  ...), hence I spend quite a lot of time with Vicky and Steve at the games. Steve's a bit of a BMW fanatic so if I had to guess I'd say he may have been on the one where they did the M3 (or was it a 325?)

It was an M3 mate i seem to remember it being an estate (touring) whatever they're called
Not sure how long ago it was but it's a few years since Carla asked Vicky was it Steve and she said yes that was a good while ago now.

Had a word with Steve on Saturday, it was him and it was the one where they did the M3 touring. The guys had a dark blue one and Steve was the bloke with the good example that Brewer had a thrash in. He said Brewer was a "total knob" on the day and was "right up himself"

And here's the car in question, Steve's was the one on the left.
