Merry Christmas dudes. I've had a selection of books, DVDs and CDs, but the kids have been spoiled rotten again. I need to build an extension for all the stuff that's arrived here today! They opened a load of presents when they got up this morning and then another load after lunch, and round 3 will take place when we visit the out-laws tomorrow, absolutely crazy! Still, the look on their faces is priceless 8)

Merry Christmas Everyone!

Pretty good day so far!
Other half got me a blackberry playbook, forza horizon and some new parking sensors for my Mondingo :cheesy: (maybe she's trying to tell me something about my parking? Who knows!).
Parents paid the £620 for my timing belts to be changed the other day  Wasn't expecting anything but had a few Tshirts, pair of jeans, a hoody and £100 cash so done well :cheesy:

My family insisted a few weeks ago on inviting one of my Uncles over who last his wife 18 months ago. Not a problem you'd have thought, except he now does nothing but drinks, argues with everyone about nothing and goes on and on about crap. Generally hard work to be around, and I get on with anyone!
He must have been out all last night and this morning when my Dad dragged him out of town to our house. He then turned off the film we were all watching to try put a copied DVD of the sweeny on which my DVD player refused to play.

Everyone then insisted he sat next to me while I was eating, he generally ate like a pig and constantly mumbled under his breath instead of talking. Saying that he wasn't making any sense anyway! Totally ruined my dinner for me. Half a plate and I was so angry I stopped eating and left the table, usually I'm finishing off all the left overs!
Worse of all when he was trying to speak to my other Uncle to the right of me he would lean over me and my food while I was trying to eat!

He then spent all afternoon and all evening going on at me to setup the computer by the TV so we could all watch the fecking sweeny even though nobody wanted to and wouldn't take no for an answer.

Bah f*cking humbug! I understand he's family but if he's in that state (and everyone knew he would be) he shouldn't have come round!
I'll be making it completely clear that if he hasn't sorted himself out by next year and they invite him again, I'll be going elsewhere for Christmas dinner!

Sorry to have a rant but felt I needed to get it off my chest.

Sam the problem with that attitude is without family help he will get worse.... Maybe that's why mam and dad invited him?

I can also see why you're pissed off mind you, i like a drink but can spot a drunken knobhead a mile off.

I agree, the wife has had a few bottles of wine given her over the Christmas period and every glass she has tried so far she's turned her nose at and preffered my home made red/white.... We should sort a 406oc meet and we can all sample.

8) Was just listening to that echoing from the kids room but only boys aloud were singing it.
