It was like that when I had a Cleo as a reserve while my Ashtray was being straightened, it was totally useless for anything other than shopping and I certainly wouldn't want to own one but because it wasn't mine I got to drive it like a hooligan and park it any damn where I liked. A bit like the yoyo I guess, which I'm meant to be looking after

I think maybe that's why I like it so much. I always worry where I park my Mondeo, I always worry about noises, slight vibrations and how I drive it.

I just jump in the Mini and don't worry about a thing!

I got onto the A48 this morning with a freezing cold engine, foot flat to the floor at 6,000rpm :supafrisk: Didn't think twice about it! Poor thing

My sister-in-law had a Cooper works which I never actually drove for 1 very good reason...at 6'1" tall I couldn't actually move my legs while sitting in the drivers seat!
Totally ridiculous as I did a 150 mile round trip in the back of my mates proper mini with 4 blokes and loads of tenting gear for a festival in my youth.

Small cars are great in theory if you do a lot of city driving but for everyone else I think they're pretty pointless.

Saying that I took my 3 teenage kids on a weeks holiday in my old 1.1 punto so I guess there are small cars and 'small cars'.

Never liked Minis since their "reborn", they are great fun to drive but the interior just feels low end and too cramped for the exterior size. If I was looking for such a small car I'd look elsewere.

The 1.6 VTi is a nice engine but also one of the least reliable NA petrol engines in the market... loves, loves, loves to eat oil and its timing chain can require more maintenance than a belt!
