Well picked up the Transhit today, all 85bhp of it.If there was ever a base model i've got it,by the time i loaded all my kit in the back it puffed and wheezed up to the limited 70mph although i did see 72mph at one point, result! 15000 miles on the clock and more knocks and scrapes than my 94k Boxer had.The only plus side is that they've taken the tracker out so that was a bit of good news.

I had an 85 T280 given to me one day, same day they took my 200 T350 off me :(

The 85 didn't go much faster than 72mph even without a limiter!

I think they might actualy telling the truth as it used to have a little aeriel bonded to the n/s top of the windscreen the same as other BT vans but you can see where it has been removed as there is a mark left there, well lets hope thats what it was.

You've probably been selected as a test case; a concealed aerial has been fitted and data logging equipment hidden. Your every move, every word, recorded and backed-up in a secure data centre underground in the Wiltshire countryside..........

........meanwhile a robotic communications engineer is being developed to replace your role in the company; he will drive your Transhit just like you do, he will have a SatNav built into his eyelids and will never be late for an appointment. He will require no wages and no Tea Breaks. He will have an inbuilt OBD2 diagnostic port concealed in his groin which he can extend and plug himself into the dashboard.........

I had to take it back to the BT workshop today as the wiper blades were knackered and while i was there i had a word with one of the mechanics who fits the trackers and asked him to look over the van and confirm it had gone,he said some of the wiring was still there but the tracker had definately been taken out :D ,i also said about the sodding 70 limiter and he said if i could get it in writing from my boss and sent to the workshop he could disable it in 20 mins, fat chance of that though knowing my bosses. :(

We've all had speed limiters for years now. You do get used to them.

Glad to hear youve no tracker, 8)

Best thing to do now is to park it somewhere where no one will find it,
ive found an ideal dumping ground for it it begins with M

no one will dream of looking for it there,
