By far the most annoying phrase I have ever heard was on site. Needing labour to do a task I was directed towards the GF. He refered to the lads as "skins". A rather hollow description for another human being. I much preferred the term used by a more kindly GF, where he called the lads in his charge labradors, which is a reasonably affectionate corruption of labourer.

Small van/pick up, water tank, generator and/or pump. There's a guy doing that around where my mate lives in Hampshire and he's making a killing, apparently.

Would love a little unit doing valeting/detailing and maybe a little shop. Maybe some car repairs etc but again it's very labour intensive.

I think an office job would suit me best.

Going to get my HGV licence end of the gear. Do my class 2 and CPC for now and see how I get on.

Finish my apprenticeship and either do some driving for a few years and go to Uni in the evenings or carry on as an electrician for 2 years or so and do my HNC in Building Services Engineering which the company I work for would likely help me through it.
