I look forward to Top Gear every week and the current two-part special is very good so far.

There's a bit of a debate on the Volvo forum (there's a change  ) saying that the cars should have been more than £1,500.00 so it's a bit unrealistic. Apparently Clarkson was originally supposed to have the Volvo too :| The BMW was sold with the throttle fault?. I don't know about the scooby but that seems very cheap.
Volvo forum member wrote:The Volvo had just been MoT'd a couple of months prior to it being sold last July so it had a good few months remaining, it was taxed and was in excellent condition. It had a small bubble on the o/s/f wing, the aircon didn't work and the tailgate struts were weak but aside for that, it was a good car, It had just been fully serviced, just had tyres, just had the front suspension overhauled, the thermostat had been changed along with the coolant and had been 'detailed' the week before it left.

It was advertised on Pistonheads for £1650ono... nobody was interested, just the usual "Oh, if only you weren't so far away" comments and "Will you take £500 and a used Biro" based rubbish.

It sold hassle free for £1,500 and is now a part of Top Gear history.

Yes, and it makes my skin crawl. Absolutely hate it. Only watched it once and a couple of "celeb in a reasonably priced car" (or whatever it is they call it) features on YobTube.

Overalls...

They've been showing older TGs here (from a few years back) and people are amazed that they actually get paid to bugger about and smash up cars. It's labelled as a documentary in the tv guides, which I always think it a bit inaccurate. Comedy show perhaps?

The only way to like it is for their own stupidity and not to compare it to ours, they just seem to do challenges now and some of it is really funny.... Now the Australian version that was a skin crawler.

Ha ha ha
Definitely isn't him... He isn't even looking over his car at tyre tread (for instance) for his MOT tomorrow..... IF that was me I'd be pretty f*cking gutted if a car failed on something as minor as something I could of done before the MOT........................
