In fairness, there's only one reason you'd need an adult in the back and in which case, ask Scotty for step by step instructions

 It's 100 miles from London! It's 15 - 20 miles east of Bristol, just off the M4

https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=Castle ... 16&iwloc=A

Dead easy to get to, been there a few times.

Actually that's the closest one of these things is ever likely to get to me, but I'll be on hols, typical!!

Might be able to make it to Pugfest though (In my Volvo)

I am lucky that I live so close to both to be fair, between them both. An hour from Castle Combe, and about an hour from Prescott too, depending how heavy ones right foot is

I'm 1hr 20 to Castle Coombe and 1hr 40 to Prescott Hill.

Who wants to take on making a proper meet out of Prescott then??

You obviously haven't tried sitting in those back seats in the 406 then. Believe it or not, the rear row of a 406 Family is more comfy than the back of a Zafira. I could actually sit in mine relatively easily (just have to watch the head on the way in). Can't say if it'd be any better when on the move though.

Was unlucky enough to sit in the rear row of a Zafira on the way back from Northampton & I had to put my legs to the side (or have my knees in my chest) & where you are directly above the rear axle you feel every single imperfection in the road.

Not overly worried about the comfort of rear row passengers in what I get now though as it'll only be people who cause me grief going in there anyway.

As a further point for anybody that may be interested, I have a little info on rear seat safety. A lot of people are concerned about 3rd row seats being in crumple zones etc. I have photographic proof that a 30t articulated truck running into the back of a 13 plate Grand Picasso that threw itself in front of it didn't interfere with the rear cabin.

So did I. Honestly, try sitting in the back of a Zafira & then do the same in yours. The 406 seats may look tight, but where the roof raises once you're through the boot opening, it isn't that bad for headroom & there's more legroom than in the 3rd row of a Zafira.

If I can find where the pics are saved I'll post the one of the Picasso up. It's actually a good advert for the safety of newer cars.
