We've got a couple of those mini-fridges (like for kids bedrooms) and they work well with the 12V travel adapter.

In the Midlands it's forecast cloudy Sat/Sun with reduced daytime temps but back on the full-monty hot next week (when I'm back at work ).

Will it work twice as well on 24V?

It's a good idea, I've got a refrigerated cool box, which is a fair size and works well too, (got a few freezing cold tinnies to the south of France last year).

It's a good idea, I've got a refrigerated cool box, which is a fair size and works well too, (got a few freezing cold tinnies to the south of France last year).

24v Should warm the pasties up nicely if you have one with a warm function too.

Doggy i got one of those 12v /240v cool boxes and found that if you pre cool it (like you mentioned in the pugfest thread) it can keep things frozen for a weekend on colder weekends but i found last week that with it being left in my awning unless you find a shady spot it'll struggle to keep your pop cold... Not a fault of the box it's just that farking hot.

Those ones like Welly posted are brilliant for drinks I'm surprised Plod don't have something like that being a driver.

Lets see, 130 kW diesel engine, driving 150A alternator, feeding cool box = cold beer.

i actually had it plugged into the mains all weekend but my awning was like a sauna. If it's this hot next time we go away I'll run an extension to the boot it's cooler in there.

I'll have a look for a cool box, but need one that will work on 12v in the tranny and 24v in the lorry

Yeah it's a bit sweaty and can be uncomfortable but I love it. Much rather this than cold and wet!

Rock on lads, I'm not moaning about the heat I love it, just not when I've had to ride to work in full leathers cos the car's still fxxked & then start welding ect in all my protective gear in 32-40 degrees + v high humidaty But I'll put up with the cold beer & dipp in the pool(large paddling) when I get home , Anyway in two weeks time when were on our hol's it'll probably change

Really , It's not so much the heat but the humidaty, it's like crazy season in Darwin , Anyway just remember that six months ago here it was -10 degrees
