I managed to install DiagBox, and PP2000 appears to be working OK. But what the Hell is DAM? I know the 'core' of the thing is in French, so guess it may be French for VIN but having got this far I don't want to screw it up and have to start again. I haven't entered anything as yet for the DAM, wanted to check it out first.

DAM is the build code, on D8s it will be under the bonnet, stencilled onto the passenger side suspension turret :wink:

It's four numbers (the build date) followed by a two digit code (build location). Most saloons/estates were built in Sochaux I believe :)
