Nothing wrong with vinegar and newspaper!
It's all I use on the inside of my windscreen as it's totally foolproof and cheap!

Re: Greasy Windscreen
Don't you lot find those rain repellents give a slight smear to the wipers for a second after they've er... Swooped? Swipededed?
It usually dries instantly but does my head in! I have rain x and car lack and they have both done it on numerous occasions.
It's also what I think is the issue with the Prestone screen wash I was moaning about earlier. It's supposed to have repellency aids in it which seems to work but gives the wiper a terrible smear! Had to flush my washer system and fit 3 new blades

Re: Greasy Windscreen
I tried sarsons distilled and malt clear vinegar, is that the same as white vinegar?
I wiped it off with file paper instead of newspaper, and it doesn't seem to have helped much, does it need to be newspaper, and how much vinegar do i need to put on the windscreen.
