In the country i think you are more likely to have things stolen. Less chance of people being disturbed.

When I was back in Kent quad racing, I had to use my dads garage to do some work on my Quad, suffice to say, it was done with the door locked so no-one can see in.

Need to double check things, I'm halfway between exeter and cullompton and things go missing in the local area constantly...

Thanks everyone. Very surprised that no power tools, etc. were taken...

Had a forensic guy come out yesterday and he managed to lift off some fingerprints (mine, probably) off a CD changer that I knew was touched by the scallies. An hour later, had the police around as well to take details etc. They basically said not to hold out hope for the items to be returned but said they were probably looking for Christmas pressies.

Also, they said that if they do catch them, they would be more likely to get a custodial sentence because the garage is part of the house as opposed to a separate building/shed, so it's classed as a house burglary.

sorry to hear that. at least good that they didn't take any valuables. Raise a nasty dog, rottweiler or a doberman and keep it inside the garage

They shouid be caught., and have a finger removed for every item stolen.

no need for raising nasty dogs, they only end up getting P.T.S if they bite someone'. :(
