Dont buy anything French, it will prob let u down
Hmm. Well my family has had

1 - 309 - 130K on the clock - Sold on - had for 6 years
2 - 205 - 90k - - Sold on - had for 5 years
3 - 406 estate D8 100K+
4 - 406 estate D9 100K+
5 - 406 saloon 66K - current car i am using
6 - 307 30K (or so) - current car my sister is using
7 - 407 estate 88K - current car my dad is using

and guess how many have broken down?

none of them, there were all Diesel apart from the 205.

However we made the mistake of buying a ford mondeo Diesel (before they gave up making there own Diesel engine and bourght a pug Diesel). Apart from being as slow as sh*t, the engine gave out just on 35K and cost £2K to fix.

My opinion

Oi! :cheesy:

My 406LX was 500 notes

Apart from needing a new front brake hose when I got it (which was done as part of the cost), the car has only a few dinks and a scratch on the boot

Mind you it was an ex Peugeot Company Car and which had a new clutch and gearbox at 76,000 miles

Got it at 94,000 on the clock and it's done 10,000 since and recently treated it to 4 new tyres, RAD and CAT. It's superb
