I've just (about 2 mins ago  ) paid £368 with e-sure. 12K miles, of which 6K is business use. £300 damage XS, £100 fire and theft XS.

Had a bit of a run-in with Endsleigh (about 10 mins ago) because they originally said £364, I said "not worth switching for a few quid thanks anyway". She rang back and said £356, I said "awwww go on then". Docs arrived this morning, in order to get the premium down she'd put the XS up to £500 for damage and £550 for f&t   . Rang back, got hold of the same advisor and told her what the second word was  . When she returned the quote exacly the same conditions as my e-sure one it went up to £371 :x , strange that.

Well with my 3 points, and paying my premium monthly mine works out at roughly £700, and that is only TPF&F!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a joke.

I could get well cheap insurance if I was driving around in a little clapped out fiesta or something sh*t like that, but i'd rather pay higher insurance if it means I get to cruise around in a decent motah!

Wouldn't trade the '6 for anything (except a V6)

My insurance dropped £70 going from the GTi-6 to the HDi so it's about £300

I love being old sometimes :P

<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang
