Neighbours Vulva V70 did not manage said same task

This is vaguely interesting - Wiki Morris Marina.
A 1.5-litre diesel version, using an engine developed from the B-Series, was offered in Europe.
And you thought a 1.6 406 would be a dog. 0-60 only off a cliff.
A survey conducted by Auto Express magazine in August 2006 revealed that just 745 of the 807,000 Marinas sold in Britain are still on the road — fewer than one in a thousand. This made it officially the most-scrapped car to have been sold in Britain over the previous 30 years.
That many?   It's all giggles, right the way down to this:
Additionally, as an ill-advised competitor to the Holden Torana and Ford Cortina 6 models, the Marina was also offered from November 1973 with a 121 hp (90 kW) 2600 cc E-series six cylinder engine.
Eh?
This indigenous Marina variant was capable of 0–60 mph in under nine seconds.
You'd have to be out of your mind!

Still, one day we'll be looking back and laughing at the cars we drive today - "Do you remember those awful Peugeot 406 diesels? They had so much expensive electronics all over them, and we all know what the French aren't any good at. Anyway, I'm off to buy some of that V-power oats for my horse..."

Owned: Have only owned 3 cars, so I'll have to go with MK3 Ford Fiesta 1.1L. Not a bad car, was just sloooooowwwww.....
Drove: A toss between a US rental Chevy (read Daewoo) Aveo Automatic and an '84 Skoda Estelle that my dad owned. I think I'll go with the Aveo as it was just HORRENDOUS (just like mbell said)
