That's probably an even more realistic idea.
The remapped 136 I mean , not the speeding around town in reverse
OK, so looking at
this , I think we have a winner
Also,
this is a pretty interesting and useful lil' site

129 bhp from a 90? ha ha.
Maybe for the first ten minutes until the cylinders pop out through the bonnet!

I've seen claims of 192 BHP for 2.2 re-maps, but there's evidence that you get lots of extra grunt at high revs but little if any extra below 2000 RPM
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6 -speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)

2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

Why don't they have any really sexy editions of the 407? other than the GT of course

No it was a 405 T16
There only 6 of them in the uk. They would cost around £30,000 new back in 1993. Very simular to an Mi16. But with a turbo putting out around 220 bhp. Alls you could buy an Mi16 160 bhp 2wd also mi16x4 with height adjustable rear suspension if my memory serves me correct.

Oh, so there wasn't a 4x4 version of the Mi16, glad we got that clear.
(There used to be one parked down the road from where I worked...)

I vaguely remember the GL x 4 now - really crap spec wasn't it? bit of an odd ball.
I also seem to remember seeing Mi16 4 x 4's too. A friend had a 'Le Mans' 405 Mi16 but that was 2wd.
