
And I too have been tempted to buy another '6, although in fairness it would have been a newer younger donor vehicle and probably would have spent a lot of it's life undergoing emergency surgery to donate bits for the other one. Unfortunately I can no longer plate a 406, I think the last ones are on an 04 plate and our council specifies that to be plated from new, all vehicles have to be 5 years and under

I may wait and see how long this one will last to see what Peugeot wil replace the '7 series with (and whether they take the Microsoft route and just punt it out without rigorous testing as I feel they did with the 407 )
