Cheers Lozz. T'wife just went in to brush her (she's in her bedroom) but she's sound asleep and snoring. Aw bless
Anyway, some pictures, 'cos life, you know.
It's all a lot more obvious with the tubes and cables in:

The dangley cables are for the lights, as they'll probably be run up on top of the plasterboard (probably, I've no idea what lights we're going to have yet)
These are for the washer & drier

Note the earths below - they need to be earthed?
I made myself up a couple of guards to stop the grinder catching in the urethane foam and insulation and flipping out of my hands. They work too.

The grinder just scuds along them making a whirring noise.
I took this one because I spotted even more earths (the wires head off to my main pipework)

but then I noticed how much dust you could see in the picture

That's a while after I'd finished sanding too.
The earths do seem a bit mad, it looks like he's earthing everything, pipes, taps, the lot. The shortest path to earth is through you to the nearest inanimate object

Thing is, if you touch a live but no earth you just get a warning tingle, if you just happen to be leaning against something that's earthed you'll be testing the sensitivity of the RCD, which I think it was Doggy that pointed out, aren't anything like sensitive enough here and would pass enough current to stop someone's heart.
And what about nearby lightening strikes? Everything in the house will be lethal!
What is the point of having the taps on a plastic bath properly earthed?
Hold on, I've not moved in a while, should I stick an electrode up my arse so I'm properly earthed?
