depends who ataxi belongs to at the end of the day,

if its owned by a rank it gets hired out normaly around 2 or 3 drivers hire one car,
they get ragged to death, its not theres so they don't care,

if its a one owner taxi then more than likely it will get looked after because they've paid for it,

We've all been there but this guy's frustration got the better of him at the end-ish of a restoration  ........

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Jaguar-4-2-XJ ... 3cdadd670a
From what I'm lead to believe, the guy who had it before was doing something inside the car. He had the steering wheel off at the time. He lost his rag, punched the speedo (see pic) got out the car, Punched the O/S/R door (see pic) then picked up a broom,Wrapped it over the roof (see pic) and then belted the boot aswell (again see pic).

A bit of basil fawlty there :cheesy:

Other than the dents the body of that cars very good for an old jag, it seems like the series 2's rusted less than the series 3 and xj40.

I had to laugh when the description said that the first owner had the use of a company van, and
used it all the time. But his wife flat refused to go to social events, weddings etc... in the van.
Hence the Victor.

Never sat in one of this model.
I did though once have a lift in a Vauxhall Viscount.
Very impressed.

Phwoah!

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Peugeot-605-S ... 4acee9af7a

A 605 SVE '24', allegedly stored since new (as I can tell, although they don't give a mileage) but with a borked engine; half of which is thrown in the boot

I wonder if it was one of those 'fell out with the Peugeot Dealer' sad stories.
