The 104 was was basicly a talbot samba,
Tappy engines, crunchy gears,

they where horrible to drive,
the one ihad was only 4 or 5 yrs old so there was no rust on it it belonged to a nurse so the miles where low and bodywork well kept,
ithink after 6mths of owning it dents in every panel even the roof as some mornings it refused to start so it got a kick,
one morning igot arrested for smashing it up in anger, didnt know at the time its a crime to destroy your own property :frown:

Back on the subject of rare "beauty":

This guy gets some spectacular stuff. Never sells anything in less than perfect condition. A couple of years back he had an unregistered Cortina for sale.

Its not awful looking, still a nice car only the plastic bumpered one, i think the alfa owners want the steel bumpers instead.
the plastic front of it makes it look a bit like a fiat rimto.
The alfetta gtv6 is just as rare, alfas mustn't be a very long lasting car :cheesy:

They either seem to crash comprehensibly or fall apart with tinworm - they are Fiats after all

Which, the Alfa or the 4 door? Probably both, but if you could afford the 4 door you'd probably never drive it on a dual carriageway at night in the rain.
