What does the invoice say? If they cocked-up it's their job to put it right.
Basically Euro Car Parts have like unbranded stuff on there website, I ordered two of those and a Q-Drive one and an unbranded one turned up. Well I can give them a ring and see what they say.
This is my order...

Is europarts a big store franchise?, my front 2 droplinks came from europarts dungannon, and they wernt genuine pug, come to think of it nor was the exhaust which also came from the same place. Much cheaper than ebay or peugeot for the same parts and they do the job well.

Defo think this is all down to a track rod now
Was going to sit down and just do the track rods today, but knowing my luck I'd break something, not exactly somethign I want to do while the car is on the top of my drive

That link is referring to track rods...you have bought track rod ends.
The track rod in the link is the inner joint on the steering rack and the rod that it attaches to.
The track rod end is the bit that screws on the end of the track rod and fits to the hub at the wheel.

Americans refer to track rod ends as tie rods
All my symptoms match, clucking over bumps, clucking from lock to lock and vibrations

The link still refers to the inner tie rod (track rod), you have bought tie rod ends (track rod ends).
The safety check refers to SLIGHT play in a track rod END which is what you have bought.
The link indicates a fault with the tie rods (track rods) inner joints, there is no mention of those on the safety check.
Your fault may well relate to the inner track rod joints (tie rods), but you are changing the outer track rod ends (tie rod ends).
I would have expected the safety check to have refered to a fault with the inner joints though.

I still think it's the track rod end.
