i can understand a hatred of small powerless petrols, but add a turbo or a capacity above 2.5 litres and they are much better. The only advantage i see with my diesel is the fuel economy, and the torque. But it wouldnt compare to a v6 on lpg.

Whats all this talk about getting a costco card?

Just go www.jjfoodservice.com
Registration is free and its open to members of the public, plus if you order online and collect there 10% off everything.
Veg oil from there is £17.99 for 20 litre drum.
You can order and collect your goods, or have them delivered to your home address.

It cost me £92 to fill up my Pug yesterday (73 litres). Thankfully, I only pay income tax on it as it all goes through my company's fuel card. Still - expensive :(

Why is diesel more expensive than petrol in UK? Over in EU/Russia/USA it's cheaper (as it should be - cheaper to process than petrol)....

petrol in the south of ireland is cheaper than diesel, but up in the north diesel is more expensive, why i thought cheaper diesel was an incentive to get people running on the fuel of clattery engines.
