Hi No2Lurch,
I had it done about 12 years ago, the most painful part of the actual op was the needle for the anaesthetic, during the op you feel the Doc tugging away, and the smell of burning is not nice. It's when the anaesthetic wears off was when the fun started!! Wear a tight fitting pair of pants and stay off your feet, preferably in bed for 48 hrs. My gonads swelled massively and went black!! The pain was terrible at first, eased by lying down. After a couple of days I wasn't too bad and went back to work, gingerly of course!! I hope it isn't too bad for you, and that you are up on your feet soon.
as mentioned before the painful part of the op was the needles. a bloke called 'dave' did it. he recons he has done 40,000 now after doing his first in 1976!
feel real tender at the mo - sitting at work thinkikng i should go home.
one side is purple and swollen and the other side is dark colour but not swollen. it hurts when i cough too! lol
Past car - D9 2.2 SRi estate, sleeper, family wagon & general hauler!
Current car - Ph3 1.8 306

I once had a mate whip his knob out and show me his new Prince Albert so I got no problems hearing about swollen nads. Hope things get more comfortable shortly!
Well done Lurch, you're a brave man!
Not so sure about watching them go digging around the crown jewels though...

My Dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer last year, they decided to give him radio therapy rather than removing it, not a nice thought!

Now, have they told you about taking the samples into the hospital to make sure it worked and you are firing blanks? Had mine done two years ago and no regrets at all. It enabled the wife to come off the pill which has made life at home a lot quieter. The only advice that I wish i'd followed more closely was to rest afterwards. Other than that, no problems.
