They can't be permanent fixtures, surely? The nice people at Pininfarina must have got them on there somehow - unless they're designed not to be removed.

What happens if some little arse kicks mine off the car - does that mean I can't ever replace them? I seriously doubt it.

check yours they should be metal .. painted black ..

They are metal, and part of the bodywork. They do look almost exactly like the front splitter, so I was surprised to find out they're not clip-on parts!

well i got myself a splitter today from the scrap yard - non vented laguna one.
Past car - D9 2.2 SRi estate, sleeper, family wagon & general hauler!
Current car - Ph3 1.8 306

non vented seem to be more extinct :?

Also what are the best screws/washers to use to attach it?

i mean the unvented ones are even harder to find .
there is more vented ones out there than non vented

extinct ? that was the wrong word :oops:

think i was trana say there more rare :roll:

i used self tapping screws. bout 1" long . also i had a tool what joiners use for doing the pilot holes on the hinges.
its like a very small screwdriver but very sharp, twist and turns go through plastic very easy giving you a pilot hole ..

update - i fitted the splitter and it needed trimming at the ends.
Past car - D9 2.2 SRi estate, sleeper, family wagon & general hauler!

Different splitters. Yours was the vented type from the pre-facelift Lagunas. This was an unvented & probably from the facelifted models with the circular fog lights which would measure slightly more around the bumper.

ahh ye forgot his was unvented ...

wonder if it was the facelift non vented one because that 1 has a point in the middle of the splitter ... i think thats only on newer lagunas
