id love a sign on the back which would illuminate "YOUR TOO CLOSE" when they got too close.

About the BMW magazine it definatley didnt seem to be the magazine for average joe, its deleberatley aimed at the rich every other page has got adverts for german kitchens and expensive watches. Worst of all is the way they wrote all the titles they all start with one word in capitals then then no space and write 2 or more words with no spaces in normal text
eg BMWPRIVILEGEOPTIONS
this filled the magazine, give me the toyota magazine over this any day.

That's because most BMW owners wrongly assume that they're buying into an exclusive and prestigious lifestyle, when in actual fact the average 316i is as exclusive and prestigious as a Ford Cortina was in 1980.

The 3 series compact now thats definatley not prestigous at all. But i suppose its from the BMWLIFESTYLEOPTIONS section of their magazine.
My dad says bmw are one of the most over rated cars on the road today, and i believe him they are not the most reliable car you can drive, the new ones have awful interiors, and are useless during the winter.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back to the topic ...

... VICTORY!

I got the speakers in today. Not had any time to really put them to the test so far, as I had already run out of lunchtime by the time I'd got them fitted. Will have a proper listen on the way home from work.

Another classic example of a job that you'd think should be really easy, but is in fact quite physically involved and frustratingly tricky at times.
2002 (D9) Peugeot 406 Coupe SE, 2.2 litre Petrol. Scarlet Red/Rouge Ecarlate/Rosso Scarlatto. Black Leather interior. SOLD :(
2008 (E60 LCI) BMW 525i M-Sport, 3.0 litre Petrol. Carbonschwarz Metallic. Black Dakota Leather and Myrtlewood interior.

YEEEOOOOOO! I remember trying to put 6x9s into a Ford Orion, but it didn't really work as the rear parcel shelf was metal underneath, and had the Ford crappy speaker spaces cut out. So they just sat at an angle until I took them out again to scrap the car.

Highlander - Get your favourite CD, go to your favourite road, crank it up, and drive! 8)

Never liked the 3 series compact whatsoever. The original looked like one of those poor dogs that's had it's tail chopped off, then they gave it ugly lights cause they wouldn't make a new version.

The 1 series seems to be the replacement, another horrible ugly car driven by people desperate for badge status.

Horrible exteriors, not the most reliable car (the common myth is an example of marketing. See here http://www.guardian.co.uk/money/2007/fe ... supplement ), horrible interiors, horrible seats, horrible suspension, horribly underequipped as standard.
But it has a propellor badge, so it will sell well.
